Installation Details

Go into Master Collection folder, then into Adobe CS4 folder.
Run Setup.exe
Go back 2 folders to the main folder (where this readme is) and run adobe-master-cs4-keygen.exe
Generate a serial and copy&paste it into the box when it asks for a serial number.
When installation is complete, copy amtlib.dll, then go into the Photoshop installation folder on your computer (usually C:-Program Files-Adobe-Photoshop CS4) and replace the existing one.
Finally, run disable_activation.cmd
Adobe CS4 is now setup, activated, and will never ask for any serials.

just curious...kinda new to torrents, but when i see "1 of 1 seeds connected" shouldent the availability be 100%....in 2 days i havent seen the availibilty above like 2% even when connected to the seed...is something wrong on my end? (i'm using uTorrent 1.8.1)

not to seem ungrateful, but have you set the torrent to initial seeding, it does seem to be taking an awfully long time. You need to right click on the torrent and go to properties then check the initial seeding box. Then it only uploads each chunk of the file once

Not to be ungrateful, but I've been downloading this for a full seven days and have just hit 32.2%. At this rate, it will be about New years Day before I (and the other hundreds of leechers) will have the complete torrent.

After install and changing the file: hosts, the flashplayer stopped to work and it gets a error when trying to reinstall.
Also all emailclients stopped working (cant find any pop3 servers).

So from reading comments this file will download 100%?
Chances are when finished I will need help. Does anyone know how I can uninstall CS3 which never worked completely from my system. A complete clean uninstall, maybe a link.

Jumping now between 15-20 seeders with a massive amount of peers. It shames me that people can't set aside a small part of system resources when now a days connections are powerful to allow people to seed off of them.

If you ran disable_activation.cmd and it still asks for a serial, right-click it and select Run As Administrator. If it still doesn't work, enter a new serial by using the keygen and then run disable_activation.cmd then run it as an administrator. It then should definitely not ask for a serial ;)

Something that I have had to do with other programs/keygens, is restart your computer in Safe Mode. Then run the keygen/patch and then restart your computer normally. That has fixed many problems for me. Good luck to you, matey.

For those of you having trouble with the activation, try this, it worked for me:
All the cmd program seems to do is insert a line into Windows' "hosts" file, located here:
C:\Windows\System32\drivers\hosts
Open up that file "Hosts" file in Notepad, and add the following underneath the line that says 127.0.0.1 localhost:
127.0.0.1 activate.adobe.com
Save that hosts file, and then test it out in your web browser. You shouldn't be able to reach activate.adobe.com. (You might need to temporarily save it as "hosts2" or something like that, and rename it afterwards, since Windows won't let you directly overwrite hosts.)

The 5gb one hab been zipped using 7zip, so the normal size is the same as this, and the 17.5gb one is a retail version, which is a copy of all the disks and such, so it is larger. There is bound to be no difference between mine and the 5gb one, but the retail version might be slightly different.

There is no file type for hosts. It's just hosts. When editing in Notepad, make sure the "Save as Type" dropdown is set to "All Files".

I'd just like to say thank you to Ronmarsden for the upload. I have just installed it both on XP and Vista and everything is working perfectly on both OS.

Yo does anyone have just the serial number? or a malware free/ virus free keygen?
downloaded and installed fine, but every time I go to do something in photoshop windows no disk error keeps popping up. Doesn't shut down the program but get really annoying. Anyone else get this problem is there a fix?

yes followed install instructions to the letter. No cd error generally comes up when trying to use the 3d filters in photoshop
No one actually reads or responds to one anothers comments. That sux. Ive installed the software and followed the directions. And fucking adobe STILL deactivates my software hen I launch it, every fucking time. Im so mad i could kill someone.

That's an error for IE not CS4. You can try getting the newest Windows Installer package from Microsoft (newest version= 4.5) but I don't think that's gonna help. And make sure you have the latest .NET Framework package installed.

fixed the windows no cd error. It had nothing to do with the program. if anyone else gets this issue, if you have a external card reader, disconnect it and restart your pc then run photoshop again. It worked for me. Apparently there are a lot if things that cause this issue, mainly external peripherals is the cause

oo oo me me extensions oh please oo oo me me..lol.. I could use them. I didnt use this torrent but, the download I have of cs4 worked perfectly until I got online, and I think it snitched me out. Now it says its expired on all the programs. the same I have on 2 puters that arent online and it still works great. Is there a easy way to prevent the program from narking me off? Sometimes, when using disable_activation.cmd, it won't work, so Right click disable_activation.cmd then Run As Administrator. If it still doesn't work, run it a few more times, but that should stop it asking for a serial.

"pthreadGC2.dll was not found" I just chose cancel and AE launched fine with no problems. Any idea what caused this ?
Its been suggested to me that it maybe something to do with the media encoder conflicting with my other media encoders, apparently adobe are aware of this but "can't recreate the problem" Any idead ?
I have also added the following to my hosts files, is this necessary ?

It would probably be a conflict of media encoderss, but not 100% sure.

I'm having trouble installing this. I followed the directions and ran the setup.exe
It loads as it should, but when it opens the main setup it says "Critical errors were found during setup. Please refer to your log file for more details." (Or something along those lines.)

When I use MagicISO to mount the ISO the software loads, and I am prompted for the key. I use the keygen to generate one, and enter it in and everything gives me the green light. I attempt to install the software, then I am greeted with please insert the Adobe CS4 cd. Is there any way to resolve this issue?

I can't register the product. I have done all by the rules which are below but still somehow my computer takes the connection and trying to register. If my net isn't on, software works finely and not asking the serial. When I put net on, it keeps asking it. I run disable_activation.cmd as an admistrator (at least tried 100 times) and no effect. Should I modify the hosts file? If i open it with text editor and doing the changes, how I can save it in same form that I can replace the ordinary? Now it always saves in txt-form. Loosing my mind :(. I wish you could help.

I then got the message while running Photoshop that my product key wasn't valid. I choose to put in a new one, ran the keygen, got another serial and quit Photoshop. Then, after figuring out I needed to make sure I could write on the Hosts file, I ran the disable_activation program and like magic, no piracy message so far!

Wow guys it's like the problems never end. Apparently I am one step away from the solution to the "CD Key Problem", via adding "127.0.0.1 activate.adobe.com" to the host file in system32/drivers/etc, but it won't let me! Get this: When I try to, it says "You don't have permission to save in this location, contact the system administrator to obtain permission"

I followed the installation instructions and activation instructions to the letter yet if I close dreamweaver then reopen it, I'm told the serial is invalid and I need to enter a new one.
I do so, re-run the activator and re-copy/paste the .dll file. If I close the program (fireworks or dreamweaver are all I've used) and reopen it, I'm told the serial is bad and I need to reregister. Using Vista. Suggestions?

well it works well on Win 7
except mine doesn't work 100%, says that CS4 is under a trial license and must be activated, i done and reinstalled it, still not full version. Sure it works for Win7 but what is the point. returning to CS3 now.

I am following the instructions and when I click setup nothing happens. I assume that this is where I would paste the keygen. Is there something I am not doing right?
Thanks to Mr. Marsden and those who seeded this!!! After a little effort (like doing the homework Marsden suggested in all the replies below and following directions) everything works including Acrobat 9 Pro, no problems at all. No registration necessary.
